Our Commitment to Your Growth and Safety

At FertileRock, we believe that true healing requires a solid foundation of trust. We don’t just "process data"; we protect the stories, struggles, and prayers you share within our family. This document explains how we keep your "inner garden" secure.

1. What We Tend (Data Collection)

We only collect what is necessary to support your journey. We categorize your information into three "layers":

• The Surface (Visitor Data): Basic info like your IP and device type to ensure the app runs smoothly in your region.

• The Soil (Account & Community Data): Your nickname, email, and the "How is your heart?" mood check-ins you post to the community feed.

• The Roots (Private Counseling Data): Your private messages with counselors, personal journals, and faith-based reflections. This is your most sacred data and is never shared with the community.

2. Guarding the Family Circle (Data Sharing)

• No "Selling" the Harvest: We will never sell your personal stories or contact info to advertisers. Your struggles are not for sale.

• The Care Team: Only authorized counselors and a tiny "Trust & Safety" team can access sensitive data, and only when necessary to protect your life or improve the quality of care.

• Legal Protections: Like a physical church or clinic, we only disclose data if required by law (e.g., a subpoena) or if there is an immediate threat of harm to you or someone else.

3. Your Garden, Your Rules (User Rights)

• Anonymity: You are welcome to use a "spiritual nickname." You don't need to use your legal name to find healing here.

• The "Pruning" Tool (Erasure): You can request to delete your account at any time. We will "uproot" your identifiable data within 24 hours.

• Exporting your Journey: You have the right to download a copy of your journals and messages if you choose to continue your growth elsewhere.

4. Fortifying the Rock (Security)

We use "Industrial-Grade Protection" with a "Human Heart":

• Encrypted Foundations: All private counseling sessions and journals are protected with 256-bit encryption (the "Rock" that protects the seed).

• Secure Atmosphere: Our servers use modern SSL/TLS protocols to ensure no one "eavesdrops" on your community posts.

5. Special Notice: Faith & Counseling

Because we are a faith-based community, we respect the sanctity of your spiritual journey.

• Confidentiality: Your prayers and spiritual vents are treated with the same level of privacy as clinical counseling notes.

• AI Policy: We may use AI to suggest encouraging verses or resources, but we do not use your private counseling transcripts to train these models.

6. Session Privacy & Prohibition of Recording

1. Scope of Privacy This policy applies to all forms of communication within the platform, including Video Consultations, Audio-only Calls, and Live Chat sessions.

2. Strict Prohibition of Recording & Capturing To maintain the integrity of the therapeutic space, all participants (Counselors and Clients) are strictly prohibited from:

• Recording: Capturing audio or video using platform tools, external hardware, or third-party software.

• Screenshots: Taking screenshots or screen-captures of video feeds or chat transcripts.

• Transcription: Using unauthorized AI or third-party tools to transcribe live audio or chat in real-time.

3. Data Transmission By using these services, you acknowledge that while the platform does not store recordings of video or audio calls, these sessions are transmitted via encrypted third-party service providers. Chat logs are stored solely for  user access and are protected under our standard data security protocols.

4. User Responsibility Each participant is responsible for ensuring they are in a private, secure location during the session. The platform is not liable for "eavesdropping" caused by a participant’s choice of environment (e.g., taking a call in a public cafe).
